Nespresso night at Zurich Film Festival

Last week I was invited by Nespresso for a lovely event during the Zurich Film Festival.
Thanks to the exquisite culinary delights prepared by top chefs Christian Nickel and Patrick Mahler from Park Hotel Vitznau and the coffee-base cocktails prepared by the Nespresso Barista  it was a truly gourmet heaven!
And talking gourmet.. this event was also a great occasion to announce the Nespresso Gourmet Weeks which this year for their 3rd edition will be held from October 25th till November 15th 2015 . Chefs of 15 different gourmet restaurants together with rising talents among the elite gastronomy in Switzerland will surprise you during The Nespresso Gourmet Weeks with dishes inspired and created with Nespresso's finest Grand Cru.
For more info visit: www.nespresso.com/gourmet-weeks and embark in this wonderful culinary journey!
I can't wait to enjoy my dinner at Splendid Royal in Lugano in November during the Gourmet Weeks. Stay tuned for my report on the night!

Cheers!

At the event I was able to enjoy Nespresso's hommage cocktail to the Zurich Film Festival "The Nespresso Green Carpet" which is non-alcoholic, made with Nespresso "Tribute to Palermo" ( my actual favourite by the way) lemonade and Elderflower Syrup..it is delicious!

I leave you  the recipe here so you can create your  own "Nepresso Green Carpet Cocktail " at home:

NESPRESSO GREEN CARPET COCKTAIL

1 Grand Cru Nespresso Tribute to Palermo
1,5 cl Elderflower Syrup
10 cl Lemonade
5 fresh Mint leaves
4 pieces of Lime

Pour in a glass the Elderflower Syrup
Fill the glass up to the half with ice cubes
Add the Mint leaves and lime pieces
add the lemonade
Cool the Ristretto Tribute to Palermo in a shaker with ice cubes
and then add it to the rest
garnish with mint leaves

Do it yourself and share it !

Thanks Nespresso for the wonderful evening!
