Kjus and Hublot launch the limited edition KJUS HUBLOT JACKET

With the KJUS Hublot Jacket, Hublot and KJUS  proudly present the result of an intensive three-year collaboration.
The quality ski jacket was inspired by the legendary Hublot UNICO clock, offering innovative details such as the world's first zipper puller in carbon. The launch was celebrated at the opening day of the Zermatt Unplugged festival in Zurich, which also launched  the start of the ski season for the award-winning and world-famous resort Zermatt.
Hublot maintains close ties with Zermatt as a partner of the tourist office and has recently opened a Chalet style Boutique at the foot of the Matterhorn. The company is now also a partner of the Zermatt Unplugged festival. Zermatt is one of the few places where you can be one of KJUS Hublot Jackets that have been produced in a limited edition of only 200 pieces.
Tradition and modernity are closely linked to one another in this region. The area offers this season a few more highlights and innovations, including the remodeling and expansion of the legendary Hörnli ski lift.

The jacket

From the world's first zipper puller made of carbon over the exclusive watch window on the sleeve up to the fashionable Karomusterdetails reminiscent of Carbon - the design of the jacket is based in many ways on the Big Bang UNICO. Specially shaped and glued down chambers reflect the style of the Big Bang UNICO.

"This jacket is groundbreaking in many ways: it impresses with innovations, superb craftsmanship and a unique, contemporary look," says Didi Serena, CEO and founder of KJUS.

Developers have equipped the jacket  (based on EV Dermizax® by Toray) with a carbon membrane, which allows 10 percent more heat retention.
As insulation PrimaLoft® Silver Down is used, a combination of water-repellent duck down and ultrafine PrimaLoft® microfiber that retains its warming function even in humid conditions and dries four times faster than conventional down. The filling contains a material that has already been tested in space: schoeller®-PCM ™ (Phase Change Material).
