Opening night of Montreux Jazz Festival thanks to Switcher

On Friday thanks to Switcher I had the great pleasure to attend the opening night of the Montreux Jazz Festival. The worldwide famous jazz festival on the Swiss Riviera has reached its 49th Edition and of course the opening night didn't disappoint: Emeli Sandé and John Legend! Wow!
The night was opened on time at ( a very Swiss ) 8 O’clock by Emeli Sande took the stage in full force and gave an amazing performance of all her major hits such as  “My Kind of Love” and “Next to Me “ but also delighted the audience with some previously unheard tunes. The atmosphere in the Auditorium was absolutely fantastic and Emeli Sandé left the stage to make way to R&B star John Legend.
The singer, songwriter and pianist grabbed the audience during the whole performance with his velvety voice  and set the mood for the 49th Edition of the Festival.
It was my first time at Montreux Jazz Festival and I really loved it! The atmosphere is just magic and the location on the lake shores of is idyllic. I would recommend anyone to go and wonder around the many stands of the festivals and enjoy the music which gets played at  many locations of the Festival also for free!
The main venue is of course the Auditorium Stravinski and during the next 12 days many stars such as Mary J Blige, Lady Gaga, Paolo Nutini and Santana as well as new coming artists will be on the stage to delight the festival-goers.
The Auditorium Stravinski is air-conditioned so even with the current heat-wave you will be sure to stay cool while enjoying the music!
I will be in Montreux again on Tuesday for Damien Rice and on Thursday for Paolo Nutini and can't wait already!!

Thanks Switcher for the great night at
